Efficient AD/DA Conversion for 5G Phased-Array Links

This project investigates the challenges and the solutions of massive co-integrated arrays of data converters. In the context of the next 5G standard, 28GHz RF A/D arrays will be explored for the receivers and D/A arrays will be explored for the transmitters. Both tracks will investigate the venues towards meeting the high 5G technology expectations via functional co-integration; calibration; system-level optimization; and power, area and spectral efficiency.
