School capacity for teacher development

Samenvatting

In this project the impact of leadership practices, organizational design characteristics and teaming on the professional development of teachers in secondary vocational education is examined. Using organizational theories of adult learning and change within organizations and research on workplace conditions and leadership, a multi-level model which explains the interplay between different dimensions of school workplace environments and the professional development of teachers is tested.
