MB4.0, 4th symposium of the KNVM and NBV Microbial Biotechnology sections

The Netherlands are very active in the field of Microbial Biotechnology and harbour a large community constituted of many academic labs, institutes and companies of all sizes. The board of the Microbial Biotechnology section of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Vereniging (KNVM) and the of Microbial Physiology platform of the NBV (Nederlandse Biotechnologische Vereniging), organise a one-day yearly scientific meeting specifically dedicated to this community. This meeting series has three major goals:
- Create a yearly meeting point for Dutch scientists involved in Microbial Biotechnology and physiology
- Enable exchanges between academia and industry
- Give young scientists the opportunity to present their work in a national meeting and to exchange with young and experienced scientists from their field. (Half of the presentations are from young scientists, i.e. PhDs and post-docs, young scientists are strongly encouraged to bring posters and pitches will be selected based on poster presentations)
To attract as many people as possible, and more especially academics and young scientists, our wish is to make this meeting free of charge for bachelor and master students and for members of our scientific societies.
The 4th edition of this meeting series, MB4.0, will take place on November 6th 2017 in Delft.
