Research Talent

Research Talent was a responsive mode funding scheme, which offers talented and ambitious young researchers a platform to pursue a scientific career and carry out high-quality PhD research.

Research Talent offered excellent students within the social and behavioural sciences the opportunity to fulfill their ambitions to conduct PhD research. To this aim a full professors within social and behavioural sciences, and who is also the intended promoter, could submit an application for a grant for these upcoming researchers.

The programme started in 2011 and was discontinued in June 2018. Currently, the Research Talent programme is indefinitely closed to new applications.

The final deadline for submitting pre-proposals was September 26, 2017. The 2018 budget was approximately 6.25 million euro.

In 2018, Research Talent was discontinued. The results of its last funding round were announced in June 2018.
