Save the date: Conference Logistics ‘Impetus for logistics innovation’

The leading logistics event where visitor input is vitally important

28 November 2019

On Tuesday, 11 February 2020, the second edition of the successful conference for the research and innovation community of the Top Sector Logistics will take place. This conference, organised by the Dutch Research Council (NWO), TKI Dinalog and the Top Sector Logistics will take place in the Mauritskazerne in Ede. All entrepreneurs, government bodies and researchers within the logistics industry are warmly invited to take part in this unique day.

About the programme

The conference programme is based on three important themes: Sustainable Logistics, Data-Driven Logistics and Chain Management. We are asking participants to provide input based on these themes for the action agenda of the Top Sector Logistics. This valuable input will be included in the further elaboration of the action programme and research for the coming four years. Unlike the conference programme of 2017, interactive participation and input is vitally important for this event.

  • Be inspired by interesting speakers and international subject experts
  • Meet researchers, private partners, entrepreneurs and civil servants
  • Discover the common ground and possibilities for synergy and collaboration
  • Grab the opportunity to acquire new knowledge in the field of logistics

About the Top Sector Logistics

In the Top Sector Logistics, government, industry and knowledge institutions work together on research projects and application projects. The aim is to have achieved an international top position by 2020 with respect to the handling of goods flows, as a chain director of national and international logistics activities, and as a country with an attractive innovation and location climate for shipping and logistics companies.

The Top Consortium for Knowledge and Innovation Dinalog (previously TKI Logistics) seeks to structurally encourage and realise public-private research partnerships within the Top Sector Logistics. This concerns innovation through fundamental and applied research, and the valorisation and dissemination of knowledge, experiences and results. As the Top Consortium Knowledge and Innovation (TKI), Dinalog, NWO and TNO have entered into a partnership to boost innovation in the top sector logistics.
