4 September 2018

The sixth edition of the workshop ICT with Industry is being organised in collaboration with the Lorentz Center in Leiden and will be held from 21 to 25 January 2019. For a week, about fifty researchers from Dutch universities will join efforts to tackle scientific challenges that have been put forward by the participating organisations: National Library of the Netherlands, ICTgroup, FD Mediagroep, Persgroep and RTL Nederland. NWO is looking for researchers who are up to the task of solving these challenges together with other researchers.

The researchers will form various teams and work intensively on the ICT challenges for a period of one week. Besides the joint tackling of the issues, the aim of the workshop is to create a network platform for ICT researchers and partner organisations. The workshop is expected to lead to several publications and/or research initiatives as well as new partnerships for research between ICT and industry.
