Meeting start programme Dutch National Research Agenda

Important to note that the conference will be Dutch spoken.

11 April 2018

In the afternoon of Tuesday 8 May, NWO and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science are organising a festive meeting to mark the start of the new research programme for the Dutch National Research Agenda. The meeting will take place from 14:30 to 16:30 in Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam.

During the meeting we will inform those present about the design of the new research programme and we will take a look at the future of the Dutch National Research Agenda together. Various speakers will briefly describe the future perspectives. Which questions can be answered, which connections can be made and what does this mean for science and society?

The meeting is intended for representatives from science, societal organisations and companies, as well as the government ministries and the Knowledge Coalition. Representatives from knowledge institutions could include potential applicants and policy and/or grant advisers.

If you are interested in participating in this meeting, then please you express your interest via this application form before 1 May (available in Dutch only).

If there are more registrations than places available, a selection will be made from the registrations received. During this process, we will seek to obtain a good reflection of the various focus areas and a balanced representation of organisations. On Tuesday 1 May, we will let you know whether you have a place at the meeting.

If you cannot attend the meeting, then you can still follow it via the livestream of Pakhuis de Zwijger:

Background information Dutch National Research Agenda research programme

This spring, the Dutch Cabinet pledged extra funding for research and innovation. With this funding, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science wants to further realise the Dutch National Research Agenda. The ministry has therefore asked the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) to set up a research programme for this.
