Evaluators wanted for final review on inclusive development in Sub-Saharan Africa

Terms of Reference now available!

As the Research for Inclusive Development in Sub-Saharan Africa (RIDSSA) programme will come to a close in 2018, NWO-WOTRO is tendering a final review on programme level. This review should assess the performance of the programme in terms of results (accountability) and identify recommendations and learning from the programme setup and conceptualisation.

In the final review, the programme setup and results will be assessed  to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of NWO-WOTRO in the execution of its tasks and to inform (possible) future research programming. NWO-WOTRO includes programme board (Programme Committee and International Advisory Committee) and secretariat.

Research for inclusive development in Sub-Saharan Africa

The Research for Inclusive Development in Sub-Saharan Africa (RIDSSA) programme seeks to fund high quality research that have the potential for impact in policy and practice for more inclusive African development. The programme started in 2013 and is managed by NWO-WOTRO Science for Global Development. As part of the 8 million euros programme, 17 African-Netherlands research projects with a duration of 2 to 3 years and a series of overarching synthesis studies were funded. The programme forms part of the knowledge agenda of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The RIDSSA programme aims, objectives and criteria were formulated by the Knowledge Platform for Inclusive Development Policies (INCLUDE).
