SURe International Advisory Committee appointed

An International Advisory Committee of the SURE research programme advises the NWO-WOTRO Steering Committee on proposals to be granted. The International Advisory Committee consists of experts from academia, research institutes and think tanks.

The newly appointed memebers of the International Advisory Committe are:

  • Prof. Jordi Molas Gallart (chair), Research Professor at the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), working at INGENIO, University of Valencia, Spain
  • Prof. Sandra Nutley, University of Edinburgh Business School/ Director of the Research Unit for Research Utilisation of St Andrews University, UK
  • Dr Jan van Ongevalle, Research manager at the Sustainable Development group, KU-Leuven, Belgium
  • Dr Rose N. Oronje, Director, Science Communications & Evidence Uptake. AFIDEP, Kenya
  • Dr Louise Shaxson, Senior Research Fellow in the RAPID programme at ODI, UK

SURe research programme

Science for Using Research (SURe) provides grants for projects that focus on knowledge brokering approaches applied in research programmes under the Knowledge Platforms, that are installed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The projects contribute to strengthening the body of scientific knowledge on what works or could work in brokering knowledge to enhance the outcome and impact of research for inclusive global development.
