Save the date: NextGenChem symposium 2 June 2017

Friday June 2nd the fourth edition of the NextGenChem symposium will be held at the University of Utrecht. The meeting is targeted specifically at young faculty staff and future group leaders in chemistry. It provides a unique opportunity for networking and exchanging scientific ideas with other young ambitious chemists within The Netherlands.

The NextGenChem@NL 2017 symposium aims to bring together the future group leaders in chemistry to create and strengthen their ties. This meeting is specifically targeted to assistant professors, tenure trackers, Veni/Vidi laureates working in the field of chemical research.

The symposium will provide a creative environment to exchange scientific ideas and career experiences. Participants will have an opportunity to briefly present their research, with ample time for discussion. During the afternoon an interactive panel session will be held to discuss topics ranging from diversity in science, tenure track policies and the future of chemistry in The Netherlands. At the end of the symposium, there will also be time for networking in a social setting.
