Online matchmaking meeting Data and Intelligence & Maritime High-tech
Within the Knowledge and Innovation Covenant (KIC) proposals can be submitted for the calls Data and Intelligence & Maritime High-tech. On January 15, NWO aims to bring together researchers from different research areas who are interested in these calls.
On 29 January, NWO supports researchers and professionals from the public and private sector in forming a consortium around.
About the calls
Data and Intelligence & Maritime High-tech are part of main line 1 (MISSION) of the KIC. These calls invite research that contributes to realising the missions within the KIC. This concerns both technological and societal aspects, with contributions from researchers from different disciplines.
The call Data and Intelligence focuses on a safe society using data and intelligence with a focus on security. The call Maritime High-tech focuses on a safe sea through a future-proof and competitive ecosystem of government, knowledge institutions and (maritime) industry. Consortia of knowledge institutions, public and private partners can submit proposals.
For each call there is a budget of 3 million euros available. The deadline for pre-proposals is 22 April. These calls contribute to the objectives of the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda (KIA) ‘Security’.

Interdisciplinary matchmaking
On January 15, NWO aims to bring together researchers from different research areas. The meeting aims to make new connections and promote interdisciplinary collaboration in order to arrive at top quality integrated research proposals. This is in line with the interdisciplinary approach that is stimulated within the KIC.
