Life Sciences with Industry workshop 2019

11 – 15 November 2019, Lorentz Center Leiden

To encourage cooperation and exchange of knowledge between academia and industry, NWO, BioSB research school and the Lorentz Center jointly organise the Life Sciences with Industry Workshop 2019. Young and talented scientists (PhDs, postdocs and more experienced researchers) from different sectors of the life sciences find innovative solutions to scientifically challenging and commercially important R&D problems within a week.


Are you a young scientist with a background in the life sciences or a related research field and do you have a creative and inquisitive mind? Do you like to think outside-the-box? Do you want to meet new people from other disciplines, including mathematics, physics, chemistry and engineering? If yes, apply now for the fifth Life Sciences with Industry workshop.

Participation is free and the workshop can be included for ECTS in your PhD training plan (if approved by your graduate school). Deadline for registration is 16 September 2019.
