DutchBiophysics Poster Prize

The DutchBiophysics Poster Prize is granted each year for the best PhD/PD poster in the area of biophysics and biomedical engineering.

General procedure

  • All participants can submit their choice via the DutchBiophysics 2019 app by granting 5 stars to the best poster. Ranking via the app closes at 12.30 hrs on Tuesday 8 October 2019.  Download the app in the App Store or Play Store via the QR-code of following links

  • The jury receives a shortlist, and will evaluate the highest ranking posters and select the winner. The chair of the jury will award the third, second and first place prizes during the plenary closing session of the meeting on Tuesday 8 October 2019.

Evaluation criteria

Please judge the posters based on the following aspects:

  • The quality of the scientific content
  • The way in which the research and the results are explained on the poster
  • The lay-out and design of the poster
  • The author must be present during the poster session; no-show = no prize.

Poster sessions

The poster session consists of two parts:
1.    Monday 7 October – 16.00 - 18.00 hrs (odd poster numbers);
2.    Tuesday 8 October – 11.30 - 13.25 hrs (even poster numbers).

Award ceremony

The award ceremony takes place at the DutchBiophysics conference on Tuesday 8 October 2019, 15.45 - 15.50 hrs. Brabantzaal.
