Subsidy information

The department of OCW is investing € 2.5 million specifically intended for Arctic Research. Including the NWO contribution, this amounts to a total of  € 3.75 million for the period 2011-2015. The budget will be available for research activities in Greenland and Spitsbergen.

Research activities in Greenland and Spitsbergen offer various possibilities for international cooperation and are the focal point for Arctic research for the coming years. The investment of OCW and NWO will enable Arctic research for 2011-2015.

Op 30 november 2011 a workshop was held, with possible research partners, to inform the community about the research facilities and possibilities currently in place.
