AMOLF

AMOLF holds a leading position in the fundamental research of complex atomic and molecular systems. Key in this is the potential for technological innovations. Newly gained knowledge is transferred to industry and society. AMOLF is one of the research laboratories of FOM.

Year of foundation

AMOLF was founded in 1949 (as Laboratory for Mass-spectography, which was changed into Laboratory for Mass Separation in 1960, and replaced by the current name in 1966).

There are 114 FTE scientific personnel, 68 FTE non-scientific personnel.
