Is China Entering a High Food Price Era?
China Agricultural Economic Review (CAER) is delighted to announce its third annual conference, which is being organized by the CAER editorial office and International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). The theme of 2011 conference is ‘Is China entering a high food price era?’, aiming to explore the cause of the volatile food prices in both China and the rest of the World as well as the related countermeasures. Internationally renowned scholars and policy makers will be brought together to discuss the related issues.
The deadline for papers is 5 August 2011. Depending on the number and quality of papers submitted, the organizer may publish selected conference papers in the form of a special journal issue. The conference will take place on 22 and 23 October 2011 in Chengdu City, China.
