"Complexity and Patterns" meeting
15 november 2010 - 16 november 2010
Universiteit Twente (Drienerburght) Utrecht
This two-day meeting follows in the footsteps of the Dynamics of
Patterns Days, which accompanied the now closing NWO program with the same name, and brought together part of the physics and applied math communities. In light of the newly established Complexity Program of the NWO, the scope is extended and partly shifted in this direction.
Topics range from fluid dynamics, statistical physics and mathematical analysis of nonlinear dynamics to biophysics, ecology, and evolution.
The aim of the meeting is to offer a joint forum that allows to find common ground in this diverse community, to communicate recent results, and to facilitate longer term interaction and collaborations.
