Symposium 'How to CATCH the Future?
On 13 November NWO presented a full-day symposium ‘How to CATCH the Future’ at De Bazel in Amsterdam. The international (keynote) speakers shared their research results and vision on multidisciplinary collaboration between computer science, humanities and cultural heritage. With the finalisation of the first six CATCH projects the International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) addresses their view and recommendations on the project results.
The programme started with a short CATCH movie which shows the relevance of this research programme for either cultural heritage as scientific domain. The programme was also followed by presenting the video message of support from Minister Plasterk of Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
The symposium was concluded successfully. A total of more than 100 participants attended.
