This means they gain little experience with typical scientific issues such as making simplifications, assessing uncertainties and the critical evaluation of model results. ADHD brain regions do not work well together
A study by Rubicon grant winner Ali Mazaheri has shown that a lack of communication between brain regions may result in ADHD symptoms. His conclusions add further support to the idea that ADHD is not due to a defect in the brain regions, but rather a deficit in interactions between the regions. Read More
New Call for Social Science Exchange Visits with India
The third Call for Exchange Visits between India and The Netherlands has been launched by the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), with a deadline of 18 May 2010. This joint Scholar Exchange Scheme is aimed at staff with an academic or research appointment, up to senior professors, with a clear preference for young scholars. Read More
