In May, a new issue of WOTRO NEWS has been published. This newsletter informs those involved or interested in tropical research about current affairs, research programmes and other intitiatives within WOTRO. In this issue you can find a.o. an interview with Ernest Yonli, prime minister of Burkina Faso and WOTRO alumnus, an article on interdisciplinary methodology development used for understanding tropical land use change, information about ongoing programmes, and results of recent competitions.
