Visual Interactive Effective Worlds (VIEW)

| Line of action | : | Consolidating strengths |

| Secretariat | : | EW |
| Apply | : | No, a new round is (still) uncertain |
The VIEW programme is designed to stimulate research in the field of visualisation and modelling and simulation to support this. Many of the existing techniques have an ad hoc nature. There is a need for a more basic understanding of which methods are effective, in which situations, and why. The key terms of the programme are therefore ‘generic’ and ‘effective’.
The two leading themes are:
- Interactive data visualisation
- Interactive virtual worlds
