NACCAP Structure

The NACCAP structure has been established by NWO in spring 2004. The structure includes a Steering Committee with decisive power consisting of representatives of various stakeholders (e.g. Netherlands government, scientific community, pharmaceutical industry) and a Programme Committee responsible for scientific strategy and the evaluation of proposals in calls, consisting of experts from Netherlands, Africa and Europe. The day-to-day management is in the hands of a coordinator and small secretariat at NWO.
