Hefboom

With the HEFBOOM scheme, the board of the Council for Physical Sciences enables informatics groups to appoint one extra FTE in middle management (approximately at (senior) lecturer level) for a period of three years. The recipient himself determines this person’s activities. It is a precondition that this extra employee must have a clear added value for the research group(s) in which he or she will be appointed.

Faculties and the National Research Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science (CWI) in accordance with Table 1 of the call.

What can be applied for

Real labour costs of the added worker, consisting of his or her gross labour costs increased by 35% employer’s charge, plus all expenses paid to the worker in accordance with his or her collective labour agreement, up to a maximum of 200,000 euro.

When can be applied

Continuously, but not later than 1 September 2004. The programme runs from 2004 to 2007.
