From 2005 onwards, you can apply for financial support for short visits to the tropics within the framework of ongoing research such as visits to institutions, for fieldwork or archival work through the NWO Travel Grant Scheme (Reisbeurs (kort werkbezoek buitenland) . The specific WOTRO travel grant scheme has been enclosed in this general NWO granting scheme.
