IT Department

This department is charged with formulating the IT policy for the NWO offices. It draws up a long-term plan defining a number of IT projects, and is also responsible for their implementation. This puts I&A at the heart of the internal office automation processes at NWO head office. Among other things the department is responsible for providing a helpdesk (both internally and for Iris, the computerised subsidy application system) and for setting up and maintaining the internal database system (NWODelfi), as well as carrying out the ensuing IT activities.
