Big Grid Computing and Data Facilities continuous application
The BiG Grid project is a collaboration between NCF, Nikhef and NBIC, and enables access to grid infrastructures for scientific research in the Netherlands. Through this, the BiG Grid project aims to facilitate e-science in many scientific disciplines.
Computing Time National Computing Facilities continuous application
The National Computing Facilities Foundation (NCF) grants subsidies for the use of national computing facilities.
Dutch-Belgian Beamline (DUBBLE) open for application
Through this fund researchers from the Netherlands and Flanders can gain access to a synchrotron radiation research facility.
Grants Programme Parallelisation continuous application
The NCF Grants programme has a twofold objective: the parallelisation of existing scientific application software, or the (further) adapting of the programme code of scientific applications to the use on supercomputers, clusters and other parallel systems and the creation of a professional pool of qualified personnel able to conduct parallelisation efficiently.
Integrated Ocean Drilling Programme continuous application
The NWO Division for Earth and Life Sciences pays an annual contribution in order to give researchers the opportunity to conduct drillings into the ocean floor with drilling vessels and make accompanying measurements.

The board of the Division for Physical Sciences (GBE), together with some organisations from other countries, participates in the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT) and the Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes (ING).
National Programme Sea and Coastal Research
The ZKO focuses on strengthening the understanding and knowledge of coastal development, the role of cycles and particle flows in relation to water quality, capacity for a sustainable yield of the ecosystem, change in the biodiversity, the role of the sea and ocean in climate change and the effects of climate change on the marine system.
