Objective
Two central subsidies for multidisciplinary research (Vaccine Development for
Human Infectious Diseases and Tropical and Poverty-related infectious Diseases)
are to result in (virtual) research centres that make a significant
contribution towards preventing, controlling and/or treating infectious
diseases in the Netherlands and/or developing countries.
Application
Public research institutes in the Netherlands specialised in either (bio)medical, veterinary, epidemiological, public health and/or social-scientific research or research sectors such as basic research and (pre)clinical research.
What can be applied for
Subsidy for creating a multidisciplinary (virtual) research centre focused on one of the abovementioned themes.
When can be applied
The deadline for submitting fully worked-up proposals was 4 March 2003.
Extra Information
The programme runs from 2002 to 2005.
