Four out of six PRACE Prototype projects on Dutch Supercomputer Huygens

Currently, six new PRACE projects have been approved for testing the PRACE (PaRtnership for Advanced Computing in Europe) prototype systems. Three projects from Ireland, two from France and one from Spain have been granted with 4.5 million core-hours on the PRACE prototype systems. The National Supercomputer Huygens, installed at SARA in Amsterdam and funded by NCF, is one of the PRACE prototype systems in The Netherlands.

Four of these new PRACE-projects will have access to the Dutch National Supercomputer Huygens, led by Damien Thompson (Ireland), Edouard Audit (France), Jim Greer (Ireland) and Gary McGuire (Ireland).
