Mission

NSCR

NSCR conducts independent long term research into criminality and the maintenance of law and order, and the interplay between them. The research is divided into three themes:

  • mobility and the distribution of crime
  • The citizen and the criminal justice system
  • Life course, crime and interventions

The institute is co-financed by the Ministry of Safety and Justice and the VU University Amsterdam.
