We cordially invite you to the kick-off seminar CoCooN: Knowledge@work!
22 October 2010
This summer, seven knowledge, research and innovation projects have been awarded. Curious to learn more about these projects? At the festive afternoon session Knowledge@work the consortia leading the projects will present their ambitious plans.
CoCooN presents a new approach for bringing about positive change in the natural resources and conflict interface. The programme is innovative and ambitious. It puts local demands and ownership at the forefront. It offers opportunities of close collaboration between practitioners, researchers and policymakers. It combines effective use of available knowledge with high quality research and capacity development.
The seminar CoCooN: Knowledge@work shows this new and inspiring approach in practice. Dr Indra de Soysa and Mr Clive Wicks will present their views on the international debates related to the awarded projects’ subjects. During a market you will have the opportunity to discuss face-to-face with the project teams. The diverse approaches of the projects will be presented and you are invited to discuss ways for cooperation and action for wider knowledge networking.
