WOTRO Research Day 2009
18 February 2009
We are delighted to invite you to the WOTRO Research Day 2009 held at the University Hall in Utrecht on Tuesday 7 April 2009.
All researchers, professionals at development organisations, and policy makers interested in science for global development are invited to participate.
Learn more about excellent scientific research with relevance for development and the use of scientific research in development practice. Meanwhile, meet your colleagues, present your research results and find out all about WOTRO opportunities.
The programme provides a variety of activities:
- a critical debate on the “WOTRO policy in practice”,
- workshops to promote your professionalism,
- (poster) presentations to share (your) research results,
- an award for your most original communication activity,
- a visionary speech by trend watcher Adjiedj Bakas on the challenges for global development.
For more information about the meeting and to register, please visit our web site www.wotro.nl/researchday. We kindly request you to register before March 20.
Unfortunately, WOTRO does not dispose of the means to provide researchers with financial support for travel and lodging expenses. Attendance of the workshops however is free of charge.
