Are we prepared for extreme weather events? VAM Conference 2008

On 19 November 2008 the first VAM conference was held in the framework of the Energy Delta Convention 2008 in Groningen. Two introductions on the theme Are we prepared for extreme weather events? were given by Charles Vlek, Professor of environmental psychology and behavioural decision research at the University of Groningen, and Toon Bullens, Manager Cooperative Insurance and Innovation, Eureko-Achmea.
