Extra Information
- For this transnational call, the Steering Group Polar Programme has set aside a budget for the funding of one Dutch project.
- Due to the current funding structure of the NPP, it is not possible for the NWO to fund research projects that will run until after 2012. Consequently for this PolarCLIMATE call, only an application for a postdoc (maximum three years) can be submitted. It is expected that applications will be honoured in the autumn of 2009. Researchers should bear in mind that if a project is honoured, it must be possible to start this immediately after the award so that the full duration of 3 years can be completed.
- Detailed information about the call for proposals and about the application procedure can be found on the Europolar website (www.europolar.org).
- A number of publications can also be downloaded from www.europolar.org, such as a brochure, press releases and a number of public deliverables from completed work packages.
