- Complexity programme information session
On 5 November 2009 an information session was held about the first Call for Proposals within the Complexity programme. More than 60 interested researchers participated in this event. Arjen Doelman and Cars Hommes from the theme committee were present to answer questions about the Call, along with policy officers from NWO and Technology Foundation STW. During the plenary session and the subsequent parallel sessions there was plenty of opportunity to pose questions. The lively discussions that arose from the many questions posed revealed the high level of interaction between the complexity researchers present. And if the enthusiasm of the researchers is anything to go by then this interactive meeting shall hopefully contribute to the realisation of interesting joint research proposals.
