Conference "Knowledge on the Move" 26 to 28 February 2008
13 november 2007
WOTRO Science for Global Development, Nuffic and the Institute of Social
Studies (ISS) jointly organise the international conference "Knowledge on the
Move: Research for development in a globalising world". This conference will
shed light on the changing relationship between development cooperation and
international research collaboration.
Research into development issues both
in the North as well as the South requires more intensive cooperation between
researchers, policy makers, professionals at development organisations and
other interested parties. Representatives of all these groups will meet and
discuss inspiring and innovative policy and practice examples of research for
development.
Participation in the full conference (February 26-28) is
by invitation only. Only the afternoon session on February 28 is open to a
wider audience.
