TASC Innovation programme
Early 2010, ACTS set out the contours of a new research programme: the Technology Areas for Sustainable Chemistry (TASC) innovation programme. The newly formulated subjects are closely matched to the objectives of the Regiegroep Chemie. The programme has a budget of around 37 million euro. Government funding has been requested from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and NWO for half of this amount.
Technology area subjects
In consultation with researchers from knowledge institutes and industry, the subjects relevant to industry that were defined, resulting in four Technology Areas for Sustainable Chemistry (TASC):
| Eco-efficient Use of Biomass for Bulk and Fine Chemicals Production | Call TA-Biomass |
12 April 2012 full proposals |
| Comprehensive Analytical Science and Technology (COAST) | Call TA-COAST | Projects granted |
| Low Energy Routes to Bulk Chemicals | Call TA-Low energy Routes |
Call closed |
| Syngas, a Switch to Flexible New Feedstock for the Chemical Industry | Call TA-Syngas |
Call closed |
