Advanced Sustainable Processes by Engaging Catalytic Technologies

Aim
The ASPECT programme focuses on catalytic chemical processes in the bulk chemistry. Its medium and long-term ambitions are to enhance the sustainability of these processes. The ambitions comprise a large part of the high priority goals that were defined in the ‘Technology Roadmap Catalysis’.

Theme
The ASPECT Programme is structured along three main lines of research:
- Innovative Tools; 
- Engineering & Efficiency Improvements; 
- Alternative Feedstocks: Alkane/Methane.

Budget
M€ 12,5

Financing
NWO, the ministry of Economic Affairs and the participating industries (Albemarle Catalysts, Dow Benelux, DSM, BASF, ExxonMobil, Johnson Matthey, SABIC, and Shell) financially support the ASPECT programme with the amount of M€ 2,5, M€ 5 and M€ 5, respectively.

Partners
The ASPECT consortium agreement partners are represented by the following industrial partners: Albemarle Catalysts, Dow Benelux, DSM, BASF, ExxonMobil, Johnson Matthey, SABIC, and Shell.
