Launch NWO strategy on May 22nd

This occasion will take place in the Grote Kerk in Den Haag, from  13:00 hrs onwards.

In this new strategic plan NWO proposes an ambitious vision of the future, which has materialised over the past one and a half years with the help and input of many of NWO's relations in science and society. On many different occasions and in many different compositions they have offered help and concrete ideas on the future of science in the Netherlands. Together we have asked ourselves which are the necessities in order to maintain Dutch science on the international forefront and to fortify her already excellent position. One aspect was our common drive: Top-class science forms the basis of our knowledge society.

NWO cannot possibly do her job supervising the second flow of funds without partners. We therefore hope that many of our relations will join us on the 22nd of May 2006: researchers, policy-makers, officials, industrial and societal partners... no matter what role, they are welcome.
