Internationalisation

NWO is actively working to improve innovation and quality in scientific research and ensures that the knowledge generated in this process is being disseminated and utilised. Science, after all, by definition is boundless. NWO wishes to inspire both cooperation and competition, to achieve excellent research. To attain that goal, a clever combination of strength and resources is vital. The internationalisation policy is mainly targeted at increased cooperation within Europe, with the development of the European Research Area (ERA) as its key element.
