Objective
This stimulation programme of the Division for Chemical Sciences aims to promote research into and the application of the fundamental principles of supramolecular chemistry. This involves the chemistry of noncovalent compounds, where new structures and new functions and properties are created by associating two or more covalent compounds. 12 projects have been awarded for a total sum of around 3.6 million euro. The programme was launched in 1996 and the last projects ended in 2004.
