Objective
From 1996 to 2002 the Young Chemical Scientists programme was an important personal subsidy programme of the Division for Chemical Sciences. Its objective was to give young researchers with a PhD degree and a (prospective) tenured position at a university the opportunity to make a name for themselves by executing a self-chosen project. The Young Chemical Scientists programme became part of the Vernieuwingsimpuls Scheme in 2002.
